Welcome!

On October 5th, 2024 we will hold the 7th edition of the Southern California Theoretical Chemistry (SoCal TheoChem) Symposium at UCSD in La Jolla, CA. This one-day event will serve as a testimony of the vitality and high concentration of research groups engaged in theoretical chemistry in the geographical area. The primary goal of this boutique workshop is to provide a focused outlet for researchers to present their work to their colleagues, to network and build professional relationships, and to create a stronger community of researchers of the field in the region. The workshop has a strong track-record of participation since its 1st edition in 2016 at UCSD, with subsequent editions in other locations of Southern California (2017: UCI; 2018: Caltech; 2019: USC; 2022: UCR; 2023: UCLA).
