50 Years of Stochastic Processes at UCSD: a symposium in honor of Katja Lindenberg
August 15-16, 2019 in La Jolla, CA
welcome

Welcome!

As you might know, our dearest colleague and mentor, Katja Lindenberg, will be retiring in 2019 after having spent 50 years at the University of California San Diego (UCSD). We are planning a symposium entitled "50 years of stochastic processes at UCSD" to honor her scientific achievements. This event will be held at UCSD on August 15 and 16, 2019.

Katja has been pioneer of women in physical sciences and has been a very important figure in our campus since its early beginnings. Her scientific legacy has been internationally recognized on multiple occasions, including the Plus Ratio Quam Vis medal given to her last year by the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. Given her broad scientific network of collaborators, alumni, and colleagues, we will be gathering scientists from the USA, Europe, Latin America, and Asia.

Here's the poster for the event.
